Cres (as the author is lovingly called by family and friends) was neither a professionally trained Chef nor a business person. But that didn’t deter her from starting a restaurant in the Indian capital city. And again, she dared to opt for a cuisine which was not something she was either born into or had cooked till she was married into that community. Delhi had its first Goan restaurant in Bernardo’s, one of Delhi-NCR’s most loved eateries for Goan food.
