About the Poet:
Mirza Asad Ullah Beg Khan (27 December 1797 – 15 February 1869) popularly known by his pen name Ghalib is considered one of the most popular and prominent Urdu poets.
Born in Agra, Ghalib moved to Delhi and spent his life in a haveli in Gali Qasim Jan in Ballimaran. His tomb, a pilgrimage for lovers of Urdu poetry is close to the dargah of Nizamuddin Auliya and the grave of Amir Khusroe
